SAN MIGUEL – ATOTONILCO CORRIDOR

SAN MIGUEL – ATOTONILCO CORRIDOR

“Place of hot water”.

“Atotonilco” is a Nahuatl word meaning “Place of hot water”. It is a place that presumably witnessed offerings and rituals by the local chichimeca tribes. It is found at 15 minutes from downtown San Miguel.

Nowadays Atotonilco is a zone filled with experience that combines the traditional with the cutting-edge, the natural and the luxurious.

In the community of Atotonilco, hidden among mesquital valleys and thermal waterholes, is located the "Sanctuary of Jesus Nazareno de Atotonilco". The Sanctuary is a verse of folklore from New Spain that combines faith and art in the frescoes depicted in its walls.

This corridor offers you a unique and unforgettable experience, offering the best in quality and hospitality at establishments such as: hotels, exquisite restaurants, professional spas with all kinds of holistic therapies, nine-hole golf course, aquatic parks, hot springs and roofed pools surrounded by willows and fruit trees… It is a community with an exceptional lifestyle.
